Clinch River event is set for May 4
CLINTON, Tenn. — The 15th annual Clinch River Spring Antique Fair will be held on Saturday May 4 in historic Downtown Clinton.

Market and Cullom streets are closed to traffic for this event as the antique dealers line the streets. More than 100 dealers from Tennessee and surrounding states participate. Another 15 or more antique and specialty shops will be hosting spring sales.

There will also be a display from the Regional Antique Automobile Club of America and local food vendors will have booths as well. The show brings thousands of visitors to Clinton’s historic district twice a year and is held rain or shine.

For those who are in town early, there is a kick-off party from 6 to 9 p.m. May 3 in Hoskins/Lane Park on Market Street with live musical entertainment. Performing this year will be the band Wild Blue Yonder. Preserving the musical traditions of the Appalachian region is the hallmark of this ensemble.

This antiques fair is sponsored by the Antique Merchants Guild of Clinton in conjunction with the City of Clinton and Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge. For additional information please call (865) 457-5250 or visit HistoricClintonsAntiques.com/fair
