Long overlooked; Southern antiques now command respect |

In 1753, fifteen members of the Moravian Church traveled down the Great Wagon Road from Pennsylvania, eventually settling on 100,000 acres near what would become Winston-Salem, N.C.
Their settlement was intended as a commercial endeavor and a place solely for the members of the church to live and work. |
