Not just another brick in the wall

In 2015, Ohio author John M Clark released a book about Columbus’ famed German Village, an enclave noted for its brick buildings and streets. The book’s preface contains a quote reflecting why some people may appreciate old bricks as something other than rubble. It proclaims, “A brick is just a brick unless you know the story behind it,” which fittingly describes the sentiments of brick collectors. |
