Exactly why did the dish run away with the spoon? |

Some call it the “anthropomorphic fallacy,” a tendency to attribute human emotions and characteristics to nonhuman entities. Others prefer the term “anthropomorphism.” And then there are those who collect certain objects depicting, for instance, dancing spoons and smiling heads of cabbage. To these enthusiasts, their amusing collectibles are “just plain fun.” No foolin’! |
