How much would you pay for Pez?
Barbara Crews, who writes the Collectibles column for About.com alerted her readers today to a Pez recently listed on eBay that is already at more than $32,000.

The seller said it could be a $100,000 Pez.

According to our staff's research today, $11,000 is the current record for a Pez, so it seems this is already going to smash the Pez record. The auction ends Aug. 27. If you want to watch what happens go to http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=004&item=140018612889

Here is what the seller has to say about the Pez:

"Once the centerpiece of the famous Headley-Du Vall PEZ Collection - reputed to be the largest and most valuable in the world - the World's Fair PEZ is one of only a few magnificent and one-of-a-kind pieces that remain after the bulk of the collection was privately liquidated following its being donated to charity in 1995.

"Rarity: This is the only known example of its kind in existence! It is an Astronaut B with white helmet and green stem with the distinguishing raised inscription on the side: 1982 World's Fair Knoxville Tennessee.

"It is believed that Konsul Haas of Austria was the original source, and the prototype was created with the intention of selling U.S. 1982 Word's Fair promoters on a co-op deal that never materialized. As a result, neither did the manufacture of this unique piece happen."

So how much would you pay for a Pez?
