Important Handwritten Letter from Harry Houdini
This hand-written letter, dated July 1919, was penned en route to New York from California. Houdini references his (re)broken wrist, which happened when he was filming a movie in California. The recipient of this letter, Mr. Philip Pesky, managed and later owned Schulte Book Store. Houdini was an avid book collector and frequented this iconic bookstore.
